In the future, a way to live forever has been found. However, people have secretly used it to breathe new life into their lost loved ones. Your job as a captured “husk”, as your higher-ups call them, is to identify your own kind, that have been stripped from the concept of a soul and now prey on the "living". If you do not comply or do not live up to your task, you shall meet the same fate.

The player will have to ask questions to suspects sitting across the table while using various monitoring equipment like an eye monitor to gauge the suspect’s biological and physical responses to these questions. Since these diagnostics are not foolproof, the player will sometimes have to make educated guesses as to the suspect’s identity and question the ethical applicability of these tests and even make decisions that might affect the game’s world.
